Another short post with good news! Just talked to the genetic counselor and all tests were negative! No BRCA 1. No BRCA 2. None of the other 24 locations they tested look funky. This is GREAT news for my family and Maggie because that means one less thing for them to worry about, cancer wise (can’t help the other defects…). I cried tears of joy for the first time since this shit show started. Now we just need to focus attention on that pesky lump in my boob and the few cells hanging out in my lymph nodes. Two happy gals:

How many lymph nodes are involved? They say three or fewer gives a pretty good prognosis.

Hey Jenn,
Kelly just told me about your diagnosis last night. I’m so sorry to hear, but after reading this blog I gotta say, I’m amazed at your attitude about the whole thing! You really seem to be taking this in stride. I’m glad you have such a good attitude and an amazing support system; I’m sure both will help you immensely through treatments and surgeries.
